Jim won the Singer-Songwriter Competition at
the 2006 South Florida Folk Festival.

Jim's latest CD, SPARKS IN THE RADIO, was listed #30 of the Top 100 Albums of 2005 on Folk DJ's Radio Chart, while 3 songs from the CD landed in the Top 100 Songs for 2005.

Garth Brooks has included the Jim Photoglo-Wendy Waldman tune, "Fishin' In The Dark", on his new CD box set released Thanksgiving weekend.

Grammy news:

"Scary Things", a song co-written by Jim and the second grade class from Stratton Elementary School in Nashville, from the Kid Pan Alley CD,
has received a Grammy Nomination for Best Arrangement for Don Hart.

"No Ordinary Woman", written by Jim, Marcia Ball and Freebo, appears on the new live Marcia Ball CD which has been nominated for a Grammy in the Best Blues Album category.
